A Internet é um veiculo de comunicação livre, fácil e muito eficiente, Angola começou a usar a utilizar o serviço de Internet a partir do dia 14 de Fevereiro de 2000, era restrito para militares em serviço da guerra civil, e empresas de telecomunicações do estado Angolano, em 2000 havia apenas 100.000 que representa 0,15% de utilizadores de Internet.

A partir do ano de 2006 o numero de utilizares de Internet em Angola cresce drastimacamente com a implementação de utilização de dados nas operadores históricas Angolanas, a Unitel e a Movicel, já Angola Telecom ficou mesmo da rede fixa e fornecimento de Internet.

Em 2008 Angolanos passaram a usar a rede social hi5, que foi ate ano de 2009, a maior rede social utilizada em Angola. Em 2008, Angola projecta a construção do AngoSat-1, projecto este que levou mais de 10 anos para sua conclusão, e durante o lançamento erros de telemetria arruinaram o lançamento e o Satélite foi localizado no auto-mar do Cazaquistão.

Em 2010, Angola atinge um marco historio, a começar a utilizar o Facebook, hoje é o maior site a ser usado em Angola. Com cerca de 4 Milhões de Angolanos têm uma conta na rede social Facebook.
